Southern Californian 5.4 Earthquake

At 11:42 am there was a 5.4 magnitude earthquake near the city of Chino Hills. That is about 30 miles southeast of downtown Los Angeles. I live in Southern California, about 50 miles away from the epicenter, and it was a pretty good jolt. I had stopped by my parish Church for lunch. When the rumbling first started, it passed my mind that maybe I should get to Confession more often. Once I realized that nothing on a more Divine scale was going to happen to me, I noticed that the twelve or so hanging lights were swinging above my head. At that point, I thought it might be a good time to stop my mid-day prayer session.
