-April 2 (Good Friday): Fast and Abstinence
Fast=Catholics are allowed to take only one full meal for the day. All adults are bound by the law up till the age of sixty.
Abstinence=No meat (flesh and organs of mammals and fowl) is eaten for those who are age 14 and above.
