Catholic People Spotlight: Introduction

There are many types of Catholics that appear in the media today: There are those who do an outstanding job teaching the religion and are making a significant difference within the Catholic culture; there are those who work in the secular media, but have become a representatives of the faith; there are also those in the public eye that may not be known for their religious beliefs, but try to live their lives following the teachings of the Church. The Catholic People Spotlight will highlight a broad range of public people who are proud to be Catholic. In today’s age, it is a little harder to find a perfect Catholic. So, I will be forgiving if their actions are not completely pious. This article series is designed to assure everyone, in this time when an anti-catholic sentiment runs through the popular media, that we are actually surrounded by those who take a positive view of their Catholicity.
